Miller Equestrian Services offers elite riding instruction in multiple disciplines to both the serious show ring competitor and the beginner recreational rider. We specialize in Morgan and American Saddlebreds and have experienced equestrian trainers that instruct in saddle seat, hunt seat, western and driving. Our highly-trained staff's main priority is to ensure a safe, positive riding experience in a fun, friendly environment.

We have multiple trainers and instructors that capably handle students from beginners to World Champions and everything in between. We train young horses, finished horses, prepare our Jr. Exhibitor horses, as well as coach the riders and drivers.

We celebrate all achievements, whether it is when a new rider canters for the first time or when a long time, experienced rider brings home the tricolor championship ribbon! Horseback riding is a wonderful journey that requires hard work, good sportsmanship, grace and of course, celebration. The fun, laughter and friendships you will cultivate along the way will be the icing on the cake.

Come join us at Miller Equestrian,

where we treat you and your horse like family!

Frank and Ann Miller have been working together since they met years ago in the horse business and got married in 1989. They moved to Escondido in 2001 and opened Miller Equestrian Services. Together they have accomplished many things, not to mention having a daughter  that graduated from Williams Wood University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science and is making a name for herself as a horse trainer for DeVore Stables in Kentucky.

Frank, who also answers to Pancho, has been riding since the age of 5. He has been a member of USEF, ASHA and UPHA for over 30 years. As a trainer, Pancho has a stellar reputation for breaking the yearlings and developing them into top quality show horses. Pancho works with the drivers and his positive energy, humor and supportive coaching style make learning fun for his students.

Ann Miller has been riding horses since the age of 14. She offered to clean stalls at a local barn in exchange for free lessons and that was the beginning of her life with horses. Even today, Miller Equestrian has many "Tack Fairies" that work at the barn before and after school in exchange for free lessons. Ann has been a member of the USEF, AMHA, ASHA and UPHA for over 30 years and she focuses her attention on developing young riders into saddle seat and hunt seat World Champions, which she has several to be proud of.

  • Ann was the 2012 AMHA Golden Reins Award honoree which recognizes professionals who have been involved with the Morgan breed for at least 30 years

  • Ann has her NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification

  • All Trainers/Instructors are Safe Sport Certified

  • Frank and Ann brought home the 2020 Silicon Valley Horse Show Trainer High Point Award

As with many great leaders, they understand the value of the team they have built which includes over 100 total years of horseback riding, showing and training expertise.
